Hi all,

We have finally got this all together. The yorkshire meet will be held at hartshead services, heading TOWARDS huddersfield from leeds at 7.30pm on the 10th April.

Can people please confirm that they can make it? This is just an initial, trial run type thing... If its successful, we can open it up and get e38 and other forums invited too, but to make things easier we can just call it CP only for now. Obviously if you have polo driving mates who aren't on here get them to come along, but it just makes organising it a bit simpler if i only mention it on here.

Please post in this thread to confirm attendance - I'm hoping that thursday nights are okay for us all! PM me if you need any more info or anything, i can organise a convoy for folks in leeds if thats what you guys want.

I know pal, but I stay in Leeds (Crossgates) during the week and I go to college on a Thursday... Sometimes I dont get away while half 7. I will defo try and make it though. :p

I know most of the E38 guys will be going to the dub preservation meet at Sherbourn in Elmet, which is on Thursday of this week - 03/04/08.

Heartshead services is near to me so I may as well come and meet some new peeps, but I'll still be going to dub-pres 'cos it's a cool meet.

Just that there are already "Yorkshire" meets established.

I know, i have no problem with that mate, and I'm not trying to steal anyones thunder. Id really wanted this to be just a polo meet - whenever I've been to dub pres etc I've not seen many polos turn up. I know there are quite a few in leeds, for example, that I've never met, so i thought i may as well set up a meet and maybe get to know some people...

I don't know yet if this will become regular or not, but after the demise of the 'leeds meet' due to the winter nights, and then the closure of the new location, i thought perhaps we can set something up fairly locally and see if folks want to come along again or not!

I'll come if we haven't started my car. If we have then you will have to give me a lift in your car Sam........ oh no wait....... i remember now :-)

Well we won't be acting up, no chavvy behaviour or loud stereos or any of that shit... No breach of the peace, and i can't see it being particularly busy. Who knows, we shall see how it goes.

The only other place i could think of was crown point in leeds but that means possible police too.
