Parkers 6N2 1.4 8v

Featured Replies

It has taken me ages to get round to doing this! Here I go. Bought my new baby on the 5th March. I had been looking for a 6N2 16v (the 100bhp version) for wayyy too long, in the end I found this and thought it was too good not to snap up.

It's a 1.4 8v SE. Bought with 66k on the clock for a bargain price, with a FSH. Already had a brand new set of Ronal Turbos and tyres. Came with:-

Ronal Turbos

FK Highsports

German plates

K&N mushroom airfilter

Black Diamond drilled & grooved discs, fast road Pads, fast road clutch

GTI Grill

GTI Splitter

De-wipered

Ripspeed DVD Headunit, Infinity front, Sony Rear speakers, JBL amp, Pioneer Competition sub and Xbox.

Pictures from when I bought it:-

Since then I have got rid of the Ripspeed DV710 Headunit (don't like Ripspeed and didn't want it too much), replaced it with a Kenwood KDC-W312SAY 50x4, with RCA Pre-out and Aux front input. Also have removed the Xbox, and am going to sell both on.

...and just got her back from the bodyshop last week, Demon Styling in Bedfordshire. Had the front bumper smoothed, a crack fixed, fogs connected and the GTI splitter colour coded. They done a proper good job, it's looking proper mean now, love the front end. Do need some better pictures though.

Plans in the near future are to get the rear bumper smoothed, get the couple of small dents all sorted, half leather Ibiza Cupra interior (Blue & Black), debadged rear (just been lazy), stubby drivers mirror, new wheels (BBS 3 Piece), Plate, and more.

Any thoughts, questions, comments etc would be cool. Cheers :-)

Yeah its a real nice blue. Always thought I wanted black but loved this as soon as I saw it. It just gleams (when its clean of course ;)

And yeah, the seal has gone on the drivers side indicator. So there's a nice puddle in it :p I've just got a new one but had a bit of trouble fitting it. The spring that is hooked in the lever wouldn't release. Any advice?

How much did it cost you to buy if you don't mind me asking

When you had the bumper smoothed did you ever have idea to put the number plate in the bottom grilie

And How much did the charge to smooth and spray because i'm thinking of buying a mk5 and the whole bumper thing really appeals to me
