Hey guys. Was thinking of something like an all day meet in around July time. This could be open to all Club Polo members. Could have a day out in the highlands, piss about at a Loch/Forest or something, a thrash round some roads like Cairn O Mount and somewhere else scenic in the evening for a BBQ. Maybe even make it an overnight thing with camping!

It's only April so plenty of time to think of ideas, any suggestions :-D

Maybe a bit far away but how about a trip over to the Isle of Skye?

If I remember right its a great drive up and Skye itself is brilliant and there is plenty big places to camp out for the night if we are doing that too.

I'd be up for that for sure!

Considering I was planning to do this myself in the summer at some point, I think I'd be up for it. Could still do with a Polo though.

Id be up for this no idea what state the polo will be in when it goes down but should be roadworthy

The road I would suggest is Up from perth to Dundee, then up the coast road to Aberdeen, then along to Inverness then continue up the A9 to Ullapool all the way to John o'Groats! Pick folk up as we head north! have a huge convoy all the way to the tip of the Uk would be awesome! Plus the road is a true drivers road! I know it well!

We could just turn it into a big fuck off drive of Scotland John O Groats would be pretty sweet. I've never been that far north, don't think I've even been to Inverness lol

I'm in no matter what though. Plenty of parking space and room here if anyone wants to stay haha.

I think the only thing about more remote roads is the lack of petrol stations. What's the place near the west coast where there are signs up warning people that if you break down your fucking basically? Don't think you can get V-Power on the Isle of Skye!

It's hard enough to get decent petrol round here and I'm only 35 miles north of the deen!

I'd probably just get the cheap stuff then stick in some octane booster!

I'll just take my 30litre jerrican and fill that full of V-power just incase I run out and no where sells it

We should sort it for a weekend in june? head out early Saturday, cruise north picking people up and end up at John O'groats Saturday evening, stay there over night then cruise back on the Sunday?

I wouldn't manage in June as I've taken all my hols from work :( Would have to be mid week

That would be a good idea as part of the trip. The road up there was great and then the walk round the loch itself = boner tastic scenery

can't do june effer as i have festivals and my b-day so al be to shit faced for most of june to drive anywhere
