MK2 DRIVER 1.6

Featured Replies

HIYA,my mk2 driver is up for sale due to getting a smaller car as i do 120 miles aweek its not that practical for me,please see desciprion and pics below for more info.

It's a 3 door,G plate,(1989) in grey very clean for age with 132,300 on clock, have old m.o.ts and service history with the vehicle for the work that has been carried out ,also another spare key and alarm fob (dont think it works but you can contact clifford and they will help you out so you can get hold of new on

GOOD BITS:The car is m.o.ted till march 13th 2009 and taxed till end of sept (Just put 6 months on from last friday) It's a 1.6 driver done up like a gti replica so It's just prime for a engine conversion,it is lowered 60 mm all round with big bumpers and G60 archs on front and gti on rear,16 inch team dynamic wheels in grey (4 new tryes put on for m.o.t £200 worth)smoked rear lights and clear front indicators aswell,vr6 front splitter and single wiper conversion on the front and delocked and smothed on the rear with no wiper, passanger door is also delocked,DTM back box,mk4 golf seats(reall comfy and clean)chrome door cathes, clifford concept 300 alarm with recipts, debadged grille, and webber carb conversion so is now manual choke, gti electric front windows in centre console.

I was told by the previous keeper it had a new down pipe and a new brake line on one side, also I have a spare cambelt(not due for 15k though) and the old fan as the bearings went on it a was very noisey now has slim one with switch in car to turn on/off.

BAD BITS;The electrics need looking at,The bonnet has little bad repair and also the rear bench needs welding in as only the base of seats is fixed down(was taking out and pass for m.o.t now as 2 seater)May also need slight tune on carb,no roof lining,no sunroof, there is few minor rust patchs (one at bottom of drivers door and other on passanger side rear quater window just underneath)apart from these few bits the bodywork is in very good condtion for the age being 18 years old.drivers side elctric window slow going up,jvc cd player in car with 6x9s in parcel shelf (but stoped working last week)

I was going to get these ploblems fixed but as i work long hours and just have'nt had the time to get it done, somebody with abit of time and bit of money and this will be a A1 mk2 ready for the season this year.

Think thats about it as all I can think of for now.

I HAVE TRYED TO BE AS HONEST AS POSSIBLE WITH THE DESCRIPTION,AND I DONT THINK I HAVE MISSED ANYTHING BUT PLEASE EMAIL ME ON craigie04@hotmail.com FOR ANY QUESTIONS/PICS YOU WANT,ALSO CAN ARRANGE VIEWING IF YOU WOULD LIKE.
