Will 7.5x17" BBS LM copies ET 35 with 205/40/17 fit on a 2001 6N2?. The car will be lowered about 35mm, not really low, just so it doesn't look like a jeep.

dude, as a personal opinion, i think 17s are far too big on a polo!

You won't be able to lower even 35mm with 17's without rubbing. Especially with 205 tyres on a 7.5j rim, as they will have very little stretch if any. 195 tyres are usually the max size to go with on a 7.5j rim.

Wouldn't recommend 17's though, 16's at an absolute maximum if you ask me.

Ok, will stick to 15's, what's a decent suspension kit to fit that will get over speed bumps but will get rid of the inches between the wheel and the arch. Havn't fitted the wheels yet, it's on the standard 13's. Seems to be very high up though.

I'd recommend coilovers. You won't really have any problems with speedbumps, take them slow and you will be fine. You only really need to watch out for potholes in the road and rocks etc in the road.

I am currently on 15's, but will be going back to 13' standard wheels tomorow, but not any old 13's

i have 17s on atm lowered 50mm.

looks good, untill you see a slammed on 14s etc. lol.
