Looks pretty smart with the new wheels shame about your crash but seems you were able to turn it round fairly quickly, did you have to claim for the guy you hit, i might be able to get you a surround from a local scrappy as i'll probably be at GTi fest

it's ok spoke to gsf and they can get brand new ones so i guess i'll just do that i think! cheers for the offer though! as for the fella i hit he was a genuinely nice bloke and i only scratched his bumper so he got a quote for having it fixed and i just gave him the cash for it!

they're pretty simple bits of plastic that baisically wedge behind the stub axel, easy enough to fit!

Good you didnt have to claim then looks as if there are some people out there that prefer not to go through insurance just for the sake of claiming loads for "whiplash"

Ah mate thats pretty wack about the accident - although I think if it was me I would of been more pissed if I curbed one of those brand spankers rims. So could of been alot worse Still looks the Tits tho. New rears had a lick of candy red or something?

new rears are 16v items but got my grubby lil mits on a euro spec one without the reverse light, bit of a change from mk5 rears was getting bored of them and the bonus is these ones fit properly!

yeh can't see why it wouldn't be as the shims are between the stubaxel and drum and spacers sit between the drum and wheel!

went up the back of a 54 plate merc and scratched his bumper, checked it all out for him behind the bumper etc and didn't even bend any of the bumper mounts!
