opinions Close to amazing, dunno where people get the idea that A539s are shit in the wet, maybe if you're running them stretched on 7s or 8s, but on the right size wheel they are perfect. Phenomenal amounts of grip in the dry for a 175 as well. Don't do snow

opinions Very very good budget tyre in my opinion, they aren't amazing for all out grip but are very predictable in the wet and do hold on pretty well in the dry. Still not a patch on the Yokos even if they are 20mm wider.

Opinion Too grippy for my style,i kept clipping the inside kerb at first. Even down 40mm,it felt it could flip over. Traction and braking grip also improved over the 175x65x13 Avons front/Goodyear GT3 rear,on 5.5x13 et38s,previously used. Better,but less fun.

opinions Very very poor quality tyres. Quite expensive for what they are. Can't really fault them in the dry for normal to a bit enthusiastic driving. But give it any seirous amount of beans and you'll be turning and going straight. In the wet, might as well take the bus. Really really poor tyres. Replaced them with 165s which were much better, even though they are so much narrower!

I cant copy'n'paste f.a with this phone.. I got the Goodyears from Fast~Fit retro tyre fitters. That price is fully fitted. Even included tea and biscuits. Grippy,yeah. Rim protection probably helps the big flat tyrewall. They're still almost as new,on LE MK2 Golf GTi castilettes,same dimensions as P-slots.
