Hi all

I thought i would give you abit of an update, i haven't put any pics up since my last poor attempts when i got my wheels. These pics aren't the best but i thought id show you what i have been doing and where i am upto with my car, i have only had it since the end of january and i got it fully standard. I have just fitted a 16v rear bumper which doesn't match with my paint that well so il get to the bodyshop on monday see what can be done. I'm really pleased with it so far though. Give me some feedback what do you reckon????

Engine - 1.4 8v 67k pipercross induction kit

Interior- Fairly standard i have put in a JVC headunit and a 12" fusion ported sub

Wheels and tyres - 15x8 schmidt th line , 20 et at the front and 12 at the rear, they have 195/45/15s slightly stretched over them.

Exterior - Debadged, 16v rear bumper, sprayed my rear lights red, de wipered, arches rolled and pulled, tinted sunstrip, clear indicators and repeaters

Suspension - TA Technix coilovers

The plans are go lower, need a 16v front bumper, smooth boot and after that more subtle changes

i really like what you've done with the rear lights... how did u do it mate?

^^ they lok liek std rears tinted, or you could get clear rears (not lexarse) proper clears and spray them red, and yeah i agree thye look great against the green even though red and green should never be seen abit differant than mk5's

Nice to see the bumper is on! Your car looks mint when I saw it on saturday, the schmidts looked great. Where the coilovers PhilJ's kit? What height you get them on as I wouldn't mind dropping mine that low Thanks for the help yesterday btw, got both of those bumpers fitted on now. They cleaned up quite well. thanks for all your comments and smidley sorry i took a while to reply just got on here, they are tinted red with halfrauds red tinting spray, i just gave them a little sand with a fine paper and a clean, and then sprayed as many layers as possible. even though i do have a pink reverse light

yeh, was gunna say about the reverse light dude. isnt that illegal then? i might have to do mine though... do you spray the outside or the inside?

il try and get some pics but i had it done at bodyworx in lancaster, they did a good job the back arches have been pulled just over a cm so the tyre tread is ubnder the arch, if you are at the NWVAG come and find me and have a proper look, but il try need get some pics tomoorow

i sprayed the outside is an easy job and looks much better, and no apparently you don't have to have a rear reverse light as far as I'm aware

thanks they were filthy they take alot of cleaning!!! yeh its one philj coilovers and i am going to wind them down more eventually but I'm going to have to get harder springs for the rear as it scrubs. its ok mate the bumpers look smart good job :-D
