i am going to get a new ste off wheels soon....not sure what yet tho and i want stretched tyres on them. i asked at a garage near me if they could do it....they said yeah, all you have to do is put inner tubes in them and pop the tyre on or somthing....is this right?

that doesn't sound right to me if you go on youtube you can see the process being done

no inner tube crap, they just blow the tyre up normally if its not a stupidly small tyre in comparison to the rim width.

yep talkin crap i think.....even big stretches are overcome by blasting air into the tyre, or like some do, lighter fluid on inside of tyre n light it, job done

i dont want them overlly stretched, just a bit...the wheels i will probably get wil be 195's anyone got any sugestions on what size to have on?

7 inch rim then?

You wont need any stretch on a 7 inch rim. 8 inch you would.

why wudnt u need stretch?

Because a 7inch rim is within the arch, an 8 rim protrudes the arch, mind you it all depends on the offset of the alloys.

You only need a tube if your tyre is far far to narrow for the wheel. As in you can't even get it to fill the 'dip' in the wheel. Then you need a tube to blow it outwards a bit. That makes it easier to get the wheel to pop onto the bead.

For 99% of people they will never need to use a tube, but if you want some idiotic stretch then you might need it.

nah i dont lol....i use it every day. i just want a bit of a stretch on it :-) dont need a tube for a little bit of a stretch then?
