hi again guys rite, I'm insured, but now i need to get tax and they insurance company (which i id online) did not issue me with a certificate, only a summary of my information with a policy number on it ad my details. it odesnt look proffesional, so can i get tax with this? its legit it just isnt a certificate! they wont let me tax it online for 24 hours, so will a post office accept it? please answer asap i neeeed to drive lol

IMO - You will have to wait 24hrs or for a cover note in the post.

Assuming you may have only just bought the vehicle? You could just drive it because you will be backdating it til the 1st April when you tax it

You should be able to yes, if the post office doesnt think its genuine then get them to ring the insurance company they did a few years ago when they wouldnt beleive my policy wasnt genuine

If that actual clerk still wont, then ask to speak to the manager

bout to say that. no need for certificates. The computer system checks to make sure you are insured.
