Hi, heres my White GT. Bought it at the end of February from chriswf44nh on here.

Model: 1991 Polo GT Coupe

Engine: Has Golf GTI AFM, K&N Air Filter, G40 Inlet Manifold, Powerflow straight-through exhaust.

Suspension: Lowered 40/40mm

Brakes: G40 Brakes

Wheels and Tyres: 13x7 Revolution RFX. 10mm spacers on the rear.

Exterior Styling: Not much, just clear indicators, late spec rear lights and de-wipered.

Interior Styling: N/A

ICE and Security: Kenwood KVT DVD flip-out head unit, 2 Alpine 12" subs, Blaupunkt amp. Boss Audio! amp for 6x9s in stealth shelf. 6x9s are only a temporary fix until i get some door cards made up. Some rubbish dash speakers which need replacing asap.

Also has a Toad alarm with remote central locking.

Comments: Wanted a Mk3 GT as my 1st car since i went in my mates brothers 3 years ago when i was 14, got me hooked! I wanted a black one at first but got fed up of looking, found this White GT on here and it wasn't too far away so i went to view it and bought it there and then.

Plans: Lowering top caps are going on in a couple of days, and maybe leather seats if i can get to them. Smoked lights should be happening soon. Plans are to get the car running as well as it can be mechanically and I could also do with replacing the front wings, slam panel, grille, GT badge on grill, black sticker number plate surround thing on the boot to get the body work spot on. I fancy a hidden exhaust as well.

Unrealistic plans: If i keep it long enough (want an E30 318is when my 1 years NCB happens) i would like to treat it to some more lowering, some Tramonts. Id like to smooth the front plate recess and towing eye on both bumpers but keep the textured, standard look. Wouldn't mind a black roof and electric windows at some point as well.

God thats almost identical to mine!! Looks nice on the Revo's, needs a coil to drop off each spring though :p

Yeah, it definitely need to be lower on the front, but I'm wacking on a set of lowering top caps on asap so it should look better.

Orate John, have you still got your white mk3 with the burnt roof? I've not seen it round Dronny for a while

Not sure if I'm going or not yet, proper broke at the mo coz of insurance and getting brakes fixed. James just asked me if i was going but i said no coz i though i was buying a leather interior of ebay but i forgot about it lol

Its now had BRAND NEW G40 brake calipers n now has standard GT grille on.

Lowering top caps were a no-go. Standard shocks meant it wasnt gna happen.

Yeah its for sale. I'm gutted, the insurance for me is too much and i cant afford it any longer.

had loads of things i wanted to do to it but shits hit the fan lolz. ill defo have to get another White GT again at some point tho. Chris, buy it back!

Ahh I'm not sure, the bloke at the garage said summat were up with them so new ones went on. Probs fucked me over but oh well, its stops like its hit a brick wall now.

Nah, i ran around in a clio for about a month after passing my test till i found this.

was the insurance high? I'm also looking to get one of these as my first real car!

How long have you owned this car?

I swear I saw this up for sale not that long ago as I was looking at it?

I bought it in Feb, sold it in June i think.

Insurance took its toll unfortunately.
