drilling the hole is the easy bit i think.

Is there any way to do this so that MKV lights on the MKIV will actually pass the MOT?

My reading of the DIY guide suggests that either you end up with your fog on LHS or a red reverse on the LHS..?

Hoping someone can tell me that this isn't the case, as one of my original rear lights is badly cracked and my MOT's coming up. I'd rather not have to replace it with a MKIV light to pass the MOT and then get some MKVs on.

the lights he's fitting in that guide are LHD, if you fit normal RHD lights you'll be fine for MOT

Livin in Portarlington, haven't got notice of my NCT yet but it's to be in the next couple of weeks.

Now all I have to do is actually get myself some MK5 lights!! Rang around a load of scrappies last week and no-one had them. Where'd u get urs from if you don't mind me asking..?

i got mine from dempseys dismantlers,(096 45412) near ballina, co. mayo, €30 each WITH bulbholders! they gave me a discount on them cos i spent nearly €200 between the mk5 rears, a new splitter, passenger side wing, and a few other bits, i think they deliver too.
