WTF ? From daily use ? It was obviously poorly done, i'd get my money back!

I bought the car like that, it started when the previous owner gaz hit a breeze block and neva got it repaired, its just getting worse so I'm gonna get it back in to be repaired, get it fully detailed, and keeping her covered till weekends and shows! :)! I live on an estate where i have to go over 5 speed bumps daily and i think this is whats causing the cracks to get worse... once its repaired though its staying MINT!

WOW! you shouldnt be getting cracks from daily use! was it a poor job/cheap?

Nice daily...not much compares to the ABF imo

I can tell you now you will just want to drive the golf most of the time. The difference in power will be very noticeable, and so will the petrol!

Insurance is a wedge! its a good job I'm doing well at trading cars LOL...

I love driving the golf its an amazing drive!

If you love the Golf with 150 bhp, try and remove some of the factory restrictions that are literally holding the engine back. The ABF was detuned so it didn't outshine the VR6, and 170+ bhp is easily achievable without too much cash.

yep you are right there I'm on 168 at the mo and not done much yet

wish id bought one a few years ago instead of my vr6 vento

We had a Toledo ABF and just stripping out the interior made a big difference. Was a quick car, I can imagine its heavier than the Golf though.

Shame everything that came with an ABF was ugly as sin

ant how do you make money on these cars mate as by the sounds you pay about the going rate for them..if you wanna make some more then ill buy the leather out the golf bro.
