Yeah the copious amounts of Mk3 Golf GTi owners on the Polo forum were going to come running in with answers...

Two minutes on Google and I've found all the tech data for the car inc. fuel tank size and average fuel consumption figures. Surprisingly I learn it can be more frugal than the 8v version...effort...

Oh...edit...2 more minutes and I've got the price of a fuel tank...

surpose i can post up on this as i own a polo and a abf! :lol: 300miles depends how u drive but at 70 to 80 u may get up to 40mile to the gallon get some pics up matey I've got a set of alloys here for sale soon for a 16v :-D

Part of what makes forums shit theses days is people just use it as a dumping ground.

Would it really be that hard to goto google and search for how much a petrol tank is going to be? People have spent billions of pounds developing it to make it simple and useful to use yet people won't go anywhere near it.

Even the simplest thing would have been to ask on E38 since there are so many Golf owners on there.

People who are this lazy piss me off and even if I can help I won't.
