engine swap ITS ALIVE AT LONG LAST!

Featured Replies

The late Cavalier MK2 alloys should fit straight on,but may be a bit tight at the centre. Nothing that a little sandpaper cant cure, though you'd get better results from your local engineers workshop.

Heavy et which is good for tuck, but you may need spacers if you're not running skinny tyres.

i have done all the last wee bits and pieces recently, i thought about changing the glass on my headlights for the clear lenses of the in pro ones, and visa versa, think that might be quite subtle

I'm struggling to get to the bottom of all the rear lights not working, any suggestions?

crikey man, that paint came up nice! I'm tempted to give mine ago, thought it was beyond repair but after seeing that... is there a particular product you can use to protect the shine? i f*cking hate polishing, definitely not doing that every week.

  • Author

yeah the paint still needs work tbh but I'm really happy with the outcome,

that is actually before i have put on wax, if you get the paint work tidied up and then use meguiars #16 wax maybe once a month, give a quick going over it should stay in good nick

i have only put one coat of it on put tommorrow am gonna try two more then that will be it for a few weeks
