time has come to sell my mk4

bought this a couple of months ago as a cheap runabout,i painted it satin black for the laugh and have had many a laugh driving it,iv clocked up about 5k miles in the car and the only time its let me down is a puncture that i run flat (oops )

clear front indicators (ambers supplied)

cant really fault this car tbh....for the money I'm looking for it will make a great runabout/first car whatever....the exhust manifold gaskets away(cheap fix) and for whatever reason its been fitted with a push start button....its starts,drives,stops,all the tyres are legal....what more do you want from a runabout?

I'm looking for £250 ono....if i get £250 il lob a cd player in it for the buyer

car is located in ayr....scotland

cracking motor to burl about in.....up untill today (just purchased my new motor) i was doing atleast 100 miles a day in her with no issues

how goods the paint job lol?

i wont lie the paint work isnt great....it was painted with rattle cans and its the biggest thing iv painted... but to be fair for a £250 its pretty respectable....inside the doors/under the bonnet and that is still piastsio(spelling?) green but that never really bothered me

id rather not deliver as iv changed my insurance on to my new car....if i got a deposit via pay pal and a bit extra to make it worth my while(cover our fuel,buy some food and smokes) i could see about delivering...might be sort of tricky but its probebly doable

the original paint was flattened back and painted over....didnt see much point in priming it etc......its been painted like that for a couple of months now with no issues.....end of the day....if your expecting a mint car then this isnt for you.........if you want a decent wee runner....this car will be ideal

I'm not one for working out MPG figures tbh ....after driving a clio 1.8 16v and a cavvy sri this polo seems to go forever on a drop of fuel

tbh...it probebly mananges about 90 miles to the tenner....i assume fixing the exhust manifold may help this....

you could drive it home with no problems......i was using the car for atleast 100 miles a day for work while the exhust manifold was gone....i have no doubt in the cars reliability

mbh69....the paint could probebly be taken back and polished up again.......but rather you than me removing it all
