C'est tres retro!!!!

Looks cool, now you gotta get some goodies on that roofrack.... picnic boxes anyone?!

Now that's cool, your car looks mint btw

sweet love it! indicators and wheels suit it to the ground :)

thanks guys. i am well pleased with how the car is comming along. pretty much just what i hoped for when i first bought it. couple more things on the list, I'm after a mk1 golf gti splitter and wheel spacers for the back. then a respray in the summer in time for the polo show hopefully. depends on how funds are looking

thanks for the positive comments :-)

i realised something today....

that roofrack sits ridiculously high off the roof. I'm gunna have to look into ways to lower it.

haha yea it does... when i first put my roofrack on it was too high, i lowered it as well!! just flipped it on some brackets, looks a bit harder on yours tho

i think what i will do, is take it to a fabrication company. i think if i get the support legs bent correctly then it will sit lower and not look any different with the brackets in the same place.

what i want ot do, is where the 90 degrees (ish) bend is in the support legs, get that straightend out. then bend that angle back in but closer to the fixpoints on the car. that will mean all ill have to do is slide the clamps furter to the centre of the rack. and i will still get full support as the rack and legs will be in the right place.

coool mods!

think you should paint the underside of your arches in a chequer pattern
