oil changed in my arosa

Featured Replies

the oil warning light came on a few days ago (not the actual warning light, i mean the bit next to the mileage reading where it actually reads 'service - oil' or something)

took it to my local garage today, had the oil/filter changed, but the warning is still there. will i have to go to a dealer and have the warning light turned off?

i hate modern cars

No you won't mate.

I can't remember what the sequence is but there is a sequence of buttons you press and it takes the service light off. I assume you mean when it writes "SERVICE" in the little digital display?

It should be on Club Lupo somewhere.

Cheers.

Turn off

Hold trip counter reset

Turn ignition to just before engine start

Hold and wait for the blips: ---

Release

Something like that anyway :)
