Hey peeps... have posted bout my beauty before but little bit of incredibly slow progress has happened lol.

Bought her in january, standard 1.4s with a factory fitted sports kit (excluding splitter) low mileage, mint condition when i bought it, fell in love with it.

here she is as i bought her

Since january I've bought a splitter for it (now fitted) but I'm NOT happy with it as the paint match is shite! the pictures just dont show the extent of how different the wing and the bumper are!! the garage have acknowledged the problem tho and were gonna see how it is in a month! :'(

Have also a lovely set of these sitting in my room because my insurance company Zurich say they are an "unacceptable modification" and i am gutted but I'm not cancelling my policy when i get 4 yrs ncb in a couple of months.

Have looked into getting all the bump strips and plastic painted black but I'm not into spending that much on my car so its a no go lol.

Alarm to be fitted so i can put some sounds in the car and with that the other half will be helping me fit my delock handles.

I want new alloys but i think il wait til next year to get them.

I love my 9n... its not to the standard of some peoples on here but its my car for work and daily use on bumpy country roads so itl do!

Cheers for any positive and negative feedback i can understand if its not everyones cup of tea.

I can see the paint difference in the pic so i guess it must be pretty clear when lookin at the car... DEFINITELY get them to match the paint to the car and not just the colour code and do it again! :)

splitter definitely finishes off the Votex kit so it was a good buy

looking much better with the matching splitter :)

How much did you pay for the coilovers?

too much! but my other half insisted i buy only the best lol just means he has the chore of fitting them as I'm poor haha!

i love the splitter probably the best bargin ever and makes the car look beefy! just gutted with the paint not matching at the mo... i love the colour of my car, the paint may have faded but its a nice yellow now and i want the guy to match the paint on the bumper to the car... not blend it and turn the whole thing a manky yellow! il be back there in a month and il find out where he lives the garage is good i just think he thought with it being a newer car the paint code would be fine IT WILL BE FIXED!

tidy ride mate..shame bout the colour coding but shouldnt be too hard to sort out.

Looks like you started with a pretty lush car, but theres something i don't like about the new splitter makes the front look too plain it needs something to break it up a bit but your car so each to their own, if you went with S3 style wing mirrors it'd look awesome. And once you've got it lowered on those alloys it should really set the whole car off

fogs is what it needs... i can see why you said it now!

it'll help break up the black slot at the bottom of the bumper

looks good with the splitter , if you hadent of said the splitter was a different i would have probly never noticed, not long now till shes outa 4x4 mode

Spillter looks good, has given the front a whole new look.

i can see what u mean about the paint finish, but that can be sorted.

get you standard rims painted black hun witha yellow pinstripe round the outer bit.

not sure on wheels yet there not on the cards til next year so I'm not really looking, at the mo I've got an alarm to pay for my kws to put on but money has run out so until i get some more pennies i cant do n e thing else... i fancy getting some smoked headlights lights to carry on the black and yellow theme plus id quite like to fit some fogs in as they would improve the look of the front. nowt else thought of yet got my paint job to sort out first!
