my officer friend has been doing some research his chief wouldnt allow him to take on my case but he went to the local vauxhall dealers and checked out if any astras had been in with the described damage and got a list of astras with similar plates to put in my file for whoever takes the case on... really hope they find the guy! been to a couple of garages this morning neither of which gave me a quote yet but i need a new door, side repeater the mirror plastic has cracked, rear quater needs to have a crease knocked out and a dent in the arch plus a scratch painted, front wing needs knocking out... looks like just dents and creases as I've cleared the majority of rubber, dirt and paint off the car, the door is the most damaged as the metal has not gone in but popped out and they said they will need to use filler on some areas. just waiting for prices now :(
