just was at sainsburys today and saw a ticket man guy (euro car parks) putting a ticket on a car parked in a parent and child bay, what are the requirements for parking in these bays? i saw the guy looking to into the car, what was he looking at / for?

i park in them all the time (avoids the dings )

altho, i make sure the coast is clear for me to get back into the car and go. lol

yea probs a car seat and that i tend to get away with parent n baby due to having a couple or child seats in the car lol

I tend just to steal a child and that way I get away with it!

i reckon he was putting a ticket on it cos it had been there to long. You cant really prove that it didnt have a child in it cos a child dosnt have to use a car seat or booster seat it could be a older child. i park in them all the time at the local somerfeilds the euro parking guy dont say a word he just talks to me about music lol. maby hes a exception. but i wouldnt park in a disabled bay thats a whole different barrel of fish

i wouldnt park in a disabled bay appart from at tesco because they always seem to have about 50 disabled spaces with about 45 of them empty.

i dont know if its the same in sainsbury, but in tescos you are supposed to have a badge to park in parent child spaces which is given to members of the tesco toddlers and baby club, or sumthin along them lines.

i had a classic moment in tesco once, i am diabetic and i was not the happiest of bunnies and my blood was a tad bit low so i head to tesco and couldnt find a parking space, had to leave and come back in, i was slowly starting to lose the plot, i classed this as an emergency, so i parked in a disabled bay downstairs ( i never normally park in them)

got out as a people carrier parked up in disabled bay, was letting some old doris and helper, they left as i left, looked at me like i was utter shite, and said "OH ITS DISGUSTING, INCONSIDERATE"

so i just ignored it, locked up, and watched the 2 bypass the entrance to tesco and head into town

I WAS LIKE WTF, how dare they say that to me, and they arent even shopping in tesco!!!!

so i head into tesco and grabbed some lucozade and glugged away (before i had paid for it but i really didnt care)

then my printer rung me asking where i was, i was heading ot see him

so i was on phone to him and told him the tale of the doris outside...

as i finished saying "oh they looked at me like crap and mouthed off at me"

then another oldish doris next to me, turns, and goes "good"

then hobbles off

i was so so annoyed, i hung up and followed her and said

EXCUSE ME?

"if you let me finish what i was saying i would tell you that they didnt even come into tesco"

she then tried to walk off

i was like, no if your going to say flipant things expect a response

"i was parked in the disabled bay as i am diabetic and my blood sugar level is near none, and i needed to get some food or i would be in a coma"

"is that alright?"

She just like palmed me off, fuckin old people, i left tesco got in my car and just thought, what on earth...

My mate once went into a coma though due to his diabetes.... when you need the sugar, YOU NEED THE SUGAR!!

I work in a doctors practice and it is amazing how many non disabled people park in the disabled bays though just due to pure laziness.

i made a scene arguing with a coffin dodger once in a shop, i was in the cue and she was behind me, and tried pushing infront of me, i confronted her and she was like oh i didnt see you.. i was like WTF! she had to walk around me to get infront of me, my sister was giggling behind me so i had to smerk when she looked away. they think they're number 1.

i have 2 kids and still don't park in the parent and child spaces unless i have the kids with me.

and if i see people doing it that don't have kids i happily park close to them and and when i'm leaving slam my door in to theres, if they'd of followed the rules it wouldn't of happened for 2 reasons...

1. there car would of been parked in the normal part well away from mine.

2. i wouldn't of been pissed off at them abusing the parent and child parking spaces.

really fucks me off having to park at the far end of the car park and having to carry the kids all the way across the car park when there are people that don't even have kids with them taking up them spaces.

Parents whos kids are like 9 or even older who park in them annoy me. It's not like you're having to carry them/put them in a baby seat or anything!

You should see the old ****s round here. They'll park on a double yellow in the centre of town with their disabled badges, then spend 2-3 hours walking round all the shops.

its not about being lazy, its about the safety of my kids, its bad enough walking across the car parks any way with the stupid old twats paying more attention to looking for parking spaces than any one unlucky enough to be any where near them, or the fucking young twats driving around it like its a race track, you should try it while trying to carry 2 kids. the parent car park spaces are next to the trolleys for a good reason. PLUS they are wider so parents can get there kids in the cars easier without hitting your door into some one else's door, so why should some one that parked in the correct space have to take a dent in there door for some arrogant dick head taking up spaces they shouldn't be in? would you park in a disabled space??

if there all taken by people with kids then thats fair enough, i should of got there quicker, but when its though penises that are just can't be arsed to either look for a space, walk across the car park or are just to fucking arrogant and pig headed to care, then it boils my piss.

as i said in my first post, if they followed the rules it wouldn't happen...

"Disabled" people really piss me off... there's so many cars parked in central Birmingham on the £2 for half an hour on-street parking spaces with blue badges yet you hardly ever see any disabled people out and about.

To be clear I realise not everyone who is disabled has a wheel chair and I fully agree with blue badges for people who actually are disabled, but there are so many people who abuse them.

I've always got a child seat as my sons only 3 so i get away with these spaces :-D
