Hi!

As new to this forum, and new to working with VW cars, especially the G40, I think it should be great if someone made a sticky thread (or several), that contained walkthroughs for doing the "standard" upgrades everyone's talking about!

Surely there's people who's done these upgrades many times - and that are able to explain HOW and WHY each upgrade is made (possible with pics, that would kick ass!). :)

As a minimum, I really wish someone could do a general MOD-thread writeup with the following info:

(Example:)

Mod: "name of mod here, like fitting GT inlet on G40 engine"

Why: "enter reason for mod here"

Cost: "enter amount in £££ of mod here"

Difficulty rating: "enter value from 1-10 here"

Other mods necessary in relation to this mod to experience/enhance noticable gain in BHP: "enter those mods here, like if you GOT to have bigger G60 injectors before fitting 65mm pulley on the G40 or something, I don't have any idea :p"

PS: This may actually cause noobs like myself not to NAG you experienced guys over and over about the same issues!!!
