I have my trusty coupe s I'm thinking of selling due to a new MK 3 Wanted . It's a special one taxed til apr 08 but just had 13 months MOT so you know she is right. She is fitted with a 1.4 engine runs a treat done by Steve ( 86C) in Notts ( so you know its a good Job) Goes off the clock !! and still below 5k revs .

Original red black sports seats and cards however drivers seat bolsters have gone, but i have complete seat cover with and foam bits no rips ready for it to be trimmed. All original painted on bonnet with a few dinks and dents around the body nothing major and a little rust scabs on bottom of one door but for a 83 C she has loads of history and loads of paperwork and is very very good nick. Under those Mk 4 trims are the original steelies and the spare has one also. So ill take those trims off for you. She really wants restoring to her former glory but I'm a camper man and summers here. I won't let her go without a Mk 3 replacement on the cards and its got to be a good one as I just let my Mk4 go 2 months ago.

12 months MOT and will have 6 months tax ..

Whats it worth guys and WHY?

In theory Circa £500, its a weird one though.. people don't want to pay bugger all for the mk2's, but just they wait, there will be a shortage.. and it's starting now.

the 1.4 is a Seat lump, 86C fitted it.

IIRC it only needed a wheelbearing for MOT.

Like I said i really need a nice 1.3 i mk3 or a golf but offers over £500, find one like this hard , Mk 2 coupe s are now getting rare . I'm only after a mk 3 for the travelling I'm reluctantly selling this , prefer white also , but others considered and willing to PX.
