Mines not stripped , just folded seats in that pic, but i dont have the seatbelts in the back as i dont carry passengers, the belts themselves are still fitted but unbolted and tucked back into the boot so easy to refit for the MOT and the lock bits tucked under the seat.

New pics from the weekend, nr Tanygrisiau Powerstation in North Wales.

Just need to tidy up the interior & engine bay, repaint a few things and source a very cheap/free 6n engine cover.

Loving the car and picture in margam park :)

I'm pretty local to you (Neath) and would love to see your car at some point.

Sam.

Loving the tinted hellas!!

Its confirmed that i need to tint mine a little. Has it effected the brightness of them at all? And what have you used?

  • Author

Thanks guys

Sam: plan to make it to a newport edition/Attention seekers meet at some point soon so ill be over that neck for those.

Toby: Its the Fly Eyes film, the hellas were running LED H4 bulbs and the film didnt make a difference. The mains are running 3k Hids and I checked after doing one side and their was practically no light drop between them.

Awesome stuff. Cheers dude.

I do love the hella, but it sticks out like a sore thumb. So i wanted to tone it down a bit by tinting.

Only problem is, i dont wanna have to take the lamps out because the screws are fucked and tbh, its all a bit bodged. Theres a cable tie and some superglue in there somewhere

Did you take the lamps out? Can see it being difficult with them left in.

I removed them from the back as the screws are dead but the plastic bits are just about ok, but is should be possible to do the job with them in, the card/squeegee thing they give you is useful for getting it round the corners as I used it to do the mains, there not done as tidy as they were originally (second time I've done the mains and £13 has now done 10 lamps (4 spots, 2 heads 2 indicators)) and I was running short of it.

Pulled the tint off the mains and indicators as the Fly Eyes tint doesnt work too well with 3000k tint bulbs
