I had thought about limiting connections and just going straight to the rear cylinder but due to the risk of a pinch point I decided to use the HEL lines i had lying around.

Oil filter locoation kit ceri? Not exactly the hardest thing to reach anyway are they?

I just happened to have mocked it all up. Its also part of the oil cooler setup, only issue is the braided hoses are way too big (kit was for a Focus RS).

And with a turbo in place they are.

Take off goes to remote filter, thermostatic take off is mounted to the filter which goes to the cooler. all running in parallel.

Block === Filter head with thermostat === Oil Cooler

Even moving the Filter away from the exhaust pipe and into a flow of air will make it act as a small cooler.

Ahh i see i see, so the housing is still doing all the work with take offs and the like, its just in a different place! with you :-)

Ye the take off head screws onto the block, the pipes the go to the remote filter head, where my thermostat plate is also going, then from the stat to the oil cooler.

Normal setup is the oil cooler plate mounts to the block and the filter screws on the end to hold it in place but as i have the relocation head I may as well use it to move the filter away from the exhaust.

Ill take pics of the parts i have.

Both Number plate lights not working - I forgot to check those amateur mistake

Small almost un-noticable leak on front and back off side brake systems - bloody olives

Front offside wheel bearing - again. They don't last long...

Offside ball joint excessive play - another service item...

Both Sub frame front arm joint excessive play - remove, drill out and sleeve the holes

And a new tyre on the nearside front - silly mistake.

Advisory:

Both rear axle bushes deteriorated but no excessive play

Both rear wheel bearings need adjustment

Noisy exhaust....

All in all not a bad or exhaustive list.

whats wrong with teh frame, shit quality rose joints orr are they old and abused?

Nah its the elbow joint the holes have gone slightly oval allowing for play. Tbh the frame has done 30k+ miles of abuse and british roads so I'm not really surprised that parts need renewing.

So going to pull them off, drill the hole bigger and sleeve it, allows for future replacement.

There's the rose joint off the front of the subframe going to the castor adjusted bar, then there's a 180degree elbow that allows a threaded bar to fit through the bush in the rear TCA. Lol.
