Due to my G60 converted Jetta being too rotten to bother with I shall be breaking it when the MOT runs out in 4wks.

It's currently running without the charger as I had no service history with it when I bought it, so pulled the charger & stripped it down ready for a rebuild. It appears it was last serviced by Jabba in 2001 (ported at the same time), but everything in there was still good - no damage to casings or displacer etc. It's still all in bits as I never got around to rebuilding it, but will do so if required (parts are approx £250), or can just hand it over to darren at G-werks (lives approx 1min away!) to rebuild for you.

According to the guy I bought it from the engine came from a 44k corrado to make way for a 1.8T conversion, & has done 20k in the Jetta since the conversion. I don't have any paperwork to back this up tho, all I can say is that it runs amazingly smoooothly & makes power all the way to the red line.

When I bought it it had the original pulley fitted but blokey gave me an ali pulley approximately 8mm smaller (68mm?) & said "for when you fancy a bit more fun". I haven't looked inside the ecu to see if it's got an aftermarket chip. Will do if there's any interest.

Basically I'm not sure what it's worth, and am open to sensible offers for the whole package - wiring, fuel pumps, cooling system etc. (i.e. everything YOU will need for YOUR conversion). I have workshop facilities if you want to come & pull the engine/loom etc so you know how to put it back together, or can pull it out for you. I may even be persuaded to fit it for you.
