Feeler...

Featured Replies

Ok this is just a feeler so i have a rough idea if I'm going to be able to sell my car as a whole or break it (hopefully not)

Make: Volkswagen

Model: Mk3 Polo

Year/Reg: 1992

Mileage: 130k

MOT: September time

Tax: September time

Good points: Great engine, was installed by my self a friend and a fully trained mechanic. The engine had a full scale service before it went in:

Plugs

Gaskets

Seals

Leads

Mk4 dizzy + new cap

Cam Belt

Waterpump

Cam seal

New coolant bottle

Head Gasket

Head Bolts

Oil

New ECU Relay

Possbily a few more bits but carn't think off the top of my head.

There is litterally no rust on the car, I spent alot of time last summer killing little bits and they havnt come back all winter. Chassis legs are the cleanest looking iv seen, no rust around any critical parts, underneith is spotless (hasnt been dragged over speed bumps)

Extremely reliable with only 5k on the engine since head gasket and full service, doesnt use any oil or coolant. No leaks.

The specs are:

GT conversion (engine had 114k and was bought off a well known member (Rae) and had been well looked after

Poloace 8K chip

Drilled air box (Cold side)

Dewedged TB

G40 inlet (might come with a GT one)

Removed warm air feed and removed vaccume ports from air elbow

Lowered 60/60 on philj shocks and springs

BBS Ra alloys with good tyres

Tinted rear lights

Clear indicators and side repeaters

Rev counter

Remote central locking (Indicators flash)

G40 brakes (VWII) and Brembo discs and pads

Lower brace bar

Pikey decat (Cat contents removed)

G40 steering wheel

Boston accoustics 10cm dash speakers

Stealth shelf (currently no speakers in)

GT arches and sill trims

Uprated Headlights with Phillips extra white bulbs

Uprated earths

Thats all i can think of right now.

The car has had ALOT of time and love spent on it.

Bad points: Drivers rear quarter would really bennifit from a respray or even a blow over

Has CL interior, this never bothered me its not bad looking anyway.

Roof has a couple of dents, they would be easy to pop out with the roof lining out or with a suction tool

Bonnet has a couple of scratches but when used with a chip stick and polish it looks really good as does the whole car

Theres a scap on the drivers A piller, i may do this before i sell.

Cig lighter doesnt stay in

Thats all i think

Location: Derbyshire or Huddersfield depending which is best for you
