vw already got more than 200bhp from standard on the new scirroco so who know what can be done when really tweaked!

It's the 140, the 170 was just out of budget unfortunately.

Great lil engine actually. Good performance with good mpg so I can't complain.

I know there's a GT tuned to around the 400bhp mark....from a 1.4?!!!

I love the sound when driving around, supercharger whine then the turbo whistle kicks in.

my mate has one exactly the same in 3dr the 140ps version but with winterpack!

Supercharger is tiny. The real power comes from the turbo. Kicks in around 3000 rev mark. Delivery is so smooth though

Nice wheels! My 'rents just picked up the GT diesel (170ps), goes very well indeed! Good cars and a good spec too. Keeps the miles off the GTi though hey!
