could i put two 6x9 and a sub trough a 2 channel amp ?

in theory it would be possible but you will damage the amp as it will not be having equal load on both sides and either the sub will be running at full freq or the 6*9s will be running low pass

A sub must have a cross over else you will fry the voice coil and it will stop functioning as it is not designed to play at those reposnce frequences

r ok cheers so not advisable to put 2 6x9 through one channel !

i would be if they are the same power rating and resistance rating as what ever you put on the other side or if you ran 4 6x9s 2 on each chanel but i would not recomend it unless you are sure of what you are doing

it actually depends on the amp. most 2 channel amps have the capability to run in tri-mode. for example, you have one full range speaker connected to each of the channels. the sub is then connected to the termals indicated as being used for 'bridged mode' now for the important bit, you need to fit an inductor coil on the +ve wire to the sub, this cuts the high frequency sound getting to the sub. you will also have to use the amp in full range mode. its a bit of a pikey way of doing thinks, but it works.

my advise though is get on ebay and buy a second amp

yes i got a 2 channel alpine a mono block alpine but dont know if i can but that trough then some v9 shark amp but never used it if any one want to buy
