Up for sale is my BMW E30 320i SE which I've totally loved owning and driving, has been 100% reliable and trouble free. Id love to keep it but I cant afford to as I've bought another car.

The car has road tax till the end of July which will be included in the sale and MOT till October 08.

The Mileage showing on the clock is 201K, still going strong and I have two service books all stamped up to 190k from BMW dealers and BMW specialists. I also have a handful of MOTs dating back to 1997. I have given a the car a full service including new fluids- brake, power steering, new discs and pads, front lower arm bushes, a new water pump, timing belt and belt kit. I have receipts for all the above.

Engine

2.0 M20 with a Piper High Lift Cam, 2.5 inlet manifold, throttle body & injectors running a 3 bar fuel pressure regulator and a chipped ecu of unknown origin. There also is a Scorpion backbox on the car which sounds so good on cam. The car also has a LSD which locks great but I'm unsure of the ratio.

Interior

-Recaro leathers from a 6 series in the front – sooo nice and 3 series leathers in the back and leather door cards.

-Black headlining (painted)

-8 Ball gearknob

-Fully working 12 button OBC with light panel and steering wheel stalk

-Rear view mirror with map lights

Exterior

The car needs both the front wings replacing as they are in bad condition. I will include a set of wings which are in excellent condition. I've already started spraying them but they're not finished. There are small patches of rust on the rear arches and bottom of the doors and scuttle panel.

The plastic trim on the front bumper is missing as it came off on the motorway.

-Slammed on unknown springs and shocks, seem around 80mm drop??

-MIM 1900s which have a polished lip which took me ages to do.

-Retro fitted 5000k HID conversion looks absolutely hot.

The recaro interior is rare as but soo comfy, havnt seen another e30 with it!

This thing is so cool, I'm really mulling over the idea of owning it at the moment, its jsut the milage putting me off...

Is there any history of any re-build work on the engine?

Id be all over this if it was an IS and if it was for sale in January....

Its a great car, id love to keep it longer but already bought another car so cant afford to keep this.

I haven't got any history of the engine work as previous owner kept it, but its running sweet for the mileage its done.

So dam tempted, just the mileage is scary. hmmm.

that mileage is nothing if it's been regulary serviced, bump for a sweeet motor. :)

Exactly mate, got loads of receipts and stuff, mileage didnt put me of when buying it!

To all those people put off by the high mileage, dont be. I've have literally just rebuilt the head on my m20 E30 and the engine internals look like brand new at 140k. with regular servicing these engines are bomb proof. fast becoming a classic, grab em while you can.

It comes with two books of service history all stamped from BMW dealership and Specialists, i cant fault the engine on any account. It didnt bother me when i bought it! a bmw with high mileage backed with genuine service history was no concern to me!

Should of been quicker mate, its funny how after you sell a car you get loads of calls asking to come and see it then you did when you had it. Been getting loads lately.
