Popped the 16" Classics on yesterday and was surprised that the front's didn't catch as bad as I thought, the rears... well....... that’s a whole different story

There is a little more tyre showing when driving (parked on the pavement in pictures) but i can only imagine that over a pot whole part of the wheel itself actually goes into the arch.

I think the rear arches could do with a little more space, the rear bumper also poses a slight problem and will catch regardless

Anybody running those 165/40 ditch finders yet?

Chrisp, the boot is still dragon green at the moment, i will get it changed over and get it painted soon though.

I had a look at the tyres today and the arches actually clear the tyre and wheels, it's the bumper thats catching The marks left from the scrubbing is a lot further in on the tyre then the point where it would catch on the arches.

I would have to run 165/50's and spacers on the MO's to lower it any more and i wouldn't be able to get it off the driveway after lowering in

GET IT DONE THEN! and as for the driveway.. hire a minidigger or a jcb or something and ''adjust'' the driveaway

is there anyway to trim back the bumper i know its attached at the top, but if you could reattach the bumper somehow further inside the arch you may be able to trim back the bumper edge to give a bit of clearance! :)

It's already had about an inch trimmed where it joins and the screws removed, when the weather gets better i am going to take the plastic arch lining out and go for a quick spin, that should stop the fronts from catching altogether may reduce catching at the rear.
