Just flicking through the old year book (2007) Looking for a project car this summer and i think I'm going to get a mk2!!!

Love the look of this wide arched mk2, prefer pictures of it with the single circle headlights.

So if anyone has any good ones please post them up!

there was a thread abouta guy wanting to lift it back up who now owns it, itw a squite a long thread as there was soem debate about wether he should lift it or not. iirc it was in the susp. section or it shoudl of been try looking it up.

He changed it for 70mm springs and shocks for the 90+ it was at. It's still 'low' just not stupily low!

There's a mint red one with a bike exhaust on it. Think it was for sale a while back, i really wanted. Will try to find some pics

that one was a squareback...if you're thinking of garyET's/jonsmart/zombie86c (atlas grey mk2 coop) it was cool but not done 100% as filler seemed to crack etc...I would advise getting them rolled to start off with and see how you go.

I guess we are lucky as we know a place in Derby (D-town) that do it good and cheap.

Around and about £40 a panel in Notts defiantly worth the wonga as there imense ..

Regarding rolling your own .. Yes give em a tap with a mallet ..

You almost certainly will loose paint on the outside even iff you do use a heat gun ..

I was talking about a proper body shop who will spray and bake the paint in a oven .

Regarding Arch rolling i dont know how much they would charge ..

Nobody can guarantee no chipping any paint off so i say get it done at a bodyshop acounting for a respray on all arches ..

hmm not sure about spraying on the drive way.... from my experience it doesnt work lol

Most places charge 100 a panel so I'm think 40 is cheap. let me know the place Steve.
