Howdy peeps,

I decided to treat myself to a new toy yesterday as I'm waiting for my coilies to come for the Polo, it should help pass the time.

Its a 1/10 Scale Nitro Powered RC Nissan Syline! Goes to about 60mph which is probably quicker than my Polo aswell. lol

tamiya TL-01 electric one with uprated racing motor an all this other shite, but rapid as fook, definately quicker than my polo

They are definatley good fun and great if you have a bit of time to kill.

I raced a little Chav in a Corsa down the road earlier. Made me Lol!

The only things i dont like is

1.It sounds like a moped!

2.I continually smell of fuel!

3.I walk around under a hole in the O-zone layer!

I've managed to make mine RWD by takin one of the belts off. Its even better for doing donuts and drifting is hilarious!!

I've been reading up on LiPo batts for leccy ones.

I've always wanted a Nitro Car, its more like a real car if you know what i mean. The only pain is you can't just use it straight out of the box like a leccy one.

And its quite cool leaving a trail of smoke down the road as you go. lol

brushless motors really are where its at, I'm still running orion 2600's and i have a multiplex loom upgrade kit so its quick to respond now aswell.

lipo's are the next generation, they dont get hot, last for ages and got a good lifespan!

downside is there on the expensive side at 100 quid a pop

but you only need one set.

That was another thing that put me off leccy ones.. the old days of having to buy endless amounts of batteries for about 10mins use.

At least with a nitro one the only batts you need are for the handset which last ages and the reciever which only has to control the servos. So again they last quite long aswell.

I didnt realise how expensive Nitro fuel was though. lol

me mates got one, some kind of buggy type, and that flies, just a pain to start with that heat plug thingy me bob!!!

oh and make sure the batteries dont run out in the handset cuz apparently if your at full chat and the signal is lost or batteries die then it will keep going at full chat till its told otherwise!!

I did have a Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin, god knows where it has disappeared to though lol I will have to dig that out and get it up and running again

the nitro jungle juice i use alone 4 ma car cost more than runnin the polo :p
