Few new bits on the tank!

Went to the scrap yard last weekend (to get a new regulator thinggy for the heater - stopped working on 1 & 2...). There was a german 6n in there with these number plate surrounds, 'avin those' i thought! got a new headlight switch for the dash. all that for a fiver!

^^shame about the 'Sprit Banbury'.....might put the german plates back on when i don't have to drive through Warwickshire everyday!^^

^^ ye i agree with that, it will be a differasnt colour though as the nato paint fades quite easily we did soem scratches on dad landy before he use to take it offroqadinga need get it scratched to buggery and they looked worse after paint than when they were scratches as the piant was much more green.i like that though mate, think the red rear badge is pimp!

thanks man! they are only on the back of the rear wings (where it runs off from the window seal) so i think they can stay there a bit longer!

do u go to smiths in Bloxham? the srappy i usually go to in Oxford recommended smiths to me cos they had no mk3's at my local one.
