Hey people, been on the forum for about a month now and thought it was time i showed you my car, i got it about a month ago from a girl in leamington spa who advertised it on here,

it already had a few mods like alloy wheels, full exhaust, air filter, alarm, grille and angel eyes, one afternoon i cleaned it up and it came out like this after clay polish wax detailing etc.

But i didnt really like the angels and coulda done with the money for the swap so i managed to find someone at the west london meet to do a swap for some standard lights with clear indicators. I also took off the mud flaps :)

yesterday i got new wheels :) in the form of some 7.5 x 15 Ronal LS, IMO they look really good for the money and the dish is pretty reasonable

Trouble about the wheels is they currently have 195/50's on them and they are too big, so I'm looking at swapping the 195/45's on from my other wheels onto the ronals, but i have asked 2 tyre places and they want over £100 + vat to do the job?!!

Before you all say it................ my fk highsports should be arriving this morning in the post :)

Future plans are minimal, pressed plates, aero wipers, upgraded bulbs etc etc

nah they're not briyans, i got these yesterday from a guy on ED38,

might have to try that, I'm back in birmingham at uni now,

The ronals are lookin sweet james. as Gugz said southall tyres is another good place, probs the cheapest, we'll go down they're and sort it out wen you are back. This car is gonna be one to watch i reckon, once the new tyres and coilies go on its gonna have a phat stance, cant wait to get my LS's back now!

I've got a set of mk5 all reds sittin at home, not sellin em cos i wanna put em back on the polo once i get bored of the l.e.d rears but if you wanna borrow them gimme a shout!

i wouldnt sell your old wheels if i was you, they suit the car down to the ground, perfect winters! Man i know so much time is gonna be spent on the Dubs this summer!!!!

the fk highsports have just arrived and they look stunning, have been cleaned up and packaged perfectly, bringing them back to london is going to be long cos they weigh a fucking tonne!!

yer man i might try the mk5 rears, dont they have to be modded to fit a mk4 or something??

yeah the wiring on the mk4 needs to be modded to fit the mk5s but its a 2 minute thing and it can always be reversed! best thig to do will be to come down to london one weekend after the 16th and we'll go down to southall, whack the tyres on and then fit the coilies!

yeh just find a little garage somewhere and they should do it for you , i wouldn't pay more then £40 for it to be done !!

got them for £330 in the end with 2 extra tyres as 2 of the tyres on there atm are low on tread, not bad really :)

they want over 100 quid just to change your tyres!!!!! Thats a complete and utter joke! Personally wouldnt pay more than like 50 quid! an thats pushin it!!!

Definately need smaller tyres, perhaps 185/45's? Not too keen on the exhaust, it's a bit in your face, but the rest of the car looks really clean. Nice one mate.

I'm def sticking with the 195 45, mainly due to the fact the other wheels already have 195 45 on with good tread so i dont need to shell out like 160 for new tyres which i deffo cant afford, apprently 195/45 gives a reasonable stretch on 7.5J wheels anyways, if i had the money and my roads wernt so damn awful around me, i would probs try the 165's as the stretch would be awesome!

due to being at uni the car isnt with me, I'm getting it sorted on the 24th of may, then hopefuly coming back down for stonor park, is anyone else going to that??
