I didn't notice there was any panic until today

The petrol station in the middle of town was jam packed, but the one in my village was as dead as usual so i was well happy :)

No panic buying round mine, nothing at all!!!!

i'll be filling my tank to the brim in next few days though just to make sure, but not panicking about it, then again i also have stanlo refinary not too far away so all is good!

I live in Kent, there was a huge que outside the petrol station down the road from me. People are really panicing! I'm miles away from the affected areas but people are going crazy!

garage near me has been priced up at 110 something, and 120 something for diesel

Been that much in a few garages near me for a 2 weeks now. Still managing to get away with 107.9 at shell (sainsburys just up the road so keeps their prices down). Texico near work upto 112.9 a litre!!!

Haha I used to live down the loughton end of the H6 and would be pretty aware when he was driving it passed.. grrr

I find it amusing that still no one has given a reason for the panic buying?

Grangemouth was (no longer as of 39 mnutes ago it appears) going on strike, given that it supplies Scotland it left us with a problem. Why then are people panic buying in England?

Hey guys, you know these prices are never going back down. I know the oil companies and the gvt have it all sown up between them, but basically, increasing demand + decreasing supply = increasingly arsefucked motorists. I predict when the oil runs really low we're going to see more and more ferocious wars fought over it, because no-one seems to have really worked out that we need an alternative fairly soon. Imagine all those developed nations, wealthy and armed to the teeth scrapping over the last sweet in the bag. Oh hang on - imagination not required - just watch the news. Better get used to it.

Fuck it...Polo is becoming a race car and I am taking the bus to uni next semester. I'll use less fuel...but when I do I'll make sure its a rich burning fog of toxic speed.

i work at a Asda petrol station and not recently but before when there was a panic buy it was crazy !! we had alarms n shit going off in our little kiosks telling us that the fuels are down. so i go outside to close some pumps.....pple are fucked " oh no petrol ! " yes only no petrol on this pump try that 1 there....." ow noooooo petrol !!" yeah coz u dumb fucks think its all gonna finish ! " ohh is there a strike so no tanker has come?" no love the tanker comes ontime and its due later on this evening " oh so why no petrol?" i dnt even bother explaining to em anymore...... i just say :

" sorry no english" in a hardcore indian accent :-D best way
