The engine has 273bhp and 371nm torq

273 pk @5310rpm

371nm @4982rpm

The owner has driving it for a couple of miles too get the engine all working fine..

But the first transmission is broken

that will say that the engine is working fine and gives allot of boost but now we will see if a 6speed will fit with the right adapter on the transmission...

a oil-chanel was kracking wen mounting a sensor soo they weld him close :)

can u fit g60 turbo in 1.6 8v or 16v in polo 6n ?

You can fit anything if you got money

Personal i think a small-block tuning is more fun than a big block 1.8iT

there are not too many 1.6i 16v turbo,s soo it,s unique..

it was broken but it,s fixt again

the gearbox is bin rebuild with hardend steal parts in the gti gearbox...

we gonna look how long it last till the nother explosion from the gearbox

wen you build it right it last for years

but not with a steal plate and the standart pistons!!!

I'm using standard pistons in my charged 1.6 and just gonna see how they hold out , I'm not chasing big numbers tho and have spent pennies building mine compared to your mate. Did he ever get any money back from the engine builder? And that bolt in the turbo is shocking, I'm guessing he never realised there was anything amiss until he pulled it apart?

@ McLovin, the owner has no money back :( the company that made the first turbo attempt has closed the doors for this soort of stuff...

the bolt was a big suprise! sound was always a bit screwy but we thought that was the turbo speaking....

some monday morning mechanik with a bit of a hangover that drop it in without knowing it!

@andy, i will let it know in this tread, I'm not a big wonder of the English language..

from what if hurd it was something from g40 and gti gearbox that mounted together for more strength because it was hardened steel, but also much more expensive..
