although Telcam dunno if youve heard of them is a really good mate of mine so everything will be done from them...

The steering wheel looks really good, quite a difference.

Wasnt too difficult to fit at all, love the way it drives now, ever since i lowered the car iv been craving a smaller steering wheel, can really chuck the car inot the conrners now..........da da da da da I'm lovin it!

What plans you got for the polo next?

Looks well good mate, would like to have one myself but what if you have a crash, God forbid, but you've got no air bag...suppose the idea is...dont crash, but its not always as esay as that

Got the wheel on sale for £100 with the boss which aint too bad!

@poundie: as for future plans theres some bodywork in the pipeline not gonna say much other than 8v ftw , picikin up some fiesta rs turbo recaros soon gonna get them re-trimmed no leather tho...once again also new headlights and H.I.D's should be on within the next few days......re-furbing my old set of ronal ls' at the mo......mmmmm green centers once they're done ill whack em on and re-furb the bbs.......once again gonna go for something a little different with the bbs not just the standard polished dish jobbies..... !

Did you guys have any probs with the airbag light? my kit came with a couple of wires to plug into the airbag connector to make the car think its still got an airbag and therefore keep the light off, but the light still stays on!

Mate that looks wicked, will be getting mine in the next month or so. With regards to the airbag light, speak to nickb on here with a grey mk5 like mine. He has just recently fitted this same wheel and he told me he visited a vw specialist to get the light switched off. Have you got the airbag specific boss kit which is also needed?

i dont get what the fuss is about not having an airbag? my old clio never had one and that would have been worse in a crash than my polo, lots of older cars dont have them

hi, i had this problem when i fitted mine.....you need to get someone with vag-com to turn the airbag light off.....or you can take the bulb out, but the proper way would be to switch the airbag off via vag-com..or equivalent. hope this helps.
