They'll insure you. They'll charge you extra. Then, if you have an accident, they'll give you 50p for the car and make you wait 6 months for the payment while they claim it off the third party insurer, even if you're fully comp.

You want Endsleigh to insure your car about as much as you want a dose of the clap.

As long as they'll insure me thats ok, are you with them? how much more extra you reckon they'll charge for having alloys and it being lowered.

it'll only be for 4-5 months till i can renew with some one else for a better deal.

Anyone else with Endsleigh?

Their insurance isn't worth the paper it's written on. You'd be better off burning the money, it'd be more fun too.

I'm not with them, made that mistake once and happened to get rear-ended at low speed during that year. The claims process took years off my life. Seriously, the claims process involves spending hours on hold only to wind up back in the same department speaking to some other gormless fucktard who can't help you, then getting put on hold again to restart the cycle. If you like being put on hold, they're bloody great. In fact, short of being an O2 customer I can't recommend anyone better for wasting hours of my life that I'll never get back. But, if you're not a complete masochist go somewhere else. They're bloody awful.

Anyone else with Endsleigh?

They charged me £80 for all my mods. I guess they'll charge that for a not standard car just for the extra risk.

what were the extra mods. did you have a mk4. Cheers for the help

Suspension, wheels, exhaust, a few other bits. Mk3 GT.

I agree with Alex and won't be going with them again.

When you declare your mods (which I agree you should) they will take them down charge you a hefty wedge and if you're unfortunate enough to have an accident you may have an experience like Alex; as well as not being paid out for the mods as they will only replace with factory standard equipment. As alloys were an optional extra on Polo's they'll probably give you a set of steelies and send you on your way.

Why not just ring them to find out as a lot depends on where you live, how old you are, your NCB and use of car etc.

I'm with them they don't seam to bad as I'm through zurich which aint bad, but then again i aint had an accident to tell what happens next....

My parents were with Zurich, Just dont get injured in the crash, and they will offer you bugger all in compo and your car will be a few pennies.

After a Transit smashed into the back of their 98 Exec sport Accord and wrote it off, they offerd both of them a £1000 compo each, and only about the same for the car, the argument went on for 2years untill they offerd a decent price.

But then all Insurance companies are out to do you over.

Endsleigh are ok with alloys but not much else. But to be fair I've changed my policy alot while i was with them and didnt get charged any extra like some companies do.

They charged me £130 on top for suspension, wheels and interior when i was with them, luckily I didn't have to claim by the sound of it lol

you can do better than Endsleigh when it comes to mods.

I added fog lights for safety and they shaved a tenner off the renewal quote but i find their not too mod friendly bar with basics like alloys... anything else then just look elsewhere cos its ££££
