i got three and didnt really notice anything on my premium. I think they pretty much let you off the first time, its if you start to clock more that 3 points they crack the price up big style

if its part of a fixed penalty notice you dont have to tell em

if its part of a fixed penalty notice you dont have to tell em

 If only.

You'll need to tell them mate. I don't know about any extra charges though for the past insurance. You could just let this insurance run out and set a new one up with the company online starting exactly as the old one expired. That way no awkward questions. Plus normally something like a 10% online discount.

your not obliged to tell em with points from a fixed penalty, cos its not an offence or some shiz like that.

Errr, yes you are, that's why they ask if you've had any convictions. If you're driving around with an undeclared convictions, then you have every chance of having your insurance voided if you need to make a claim.

Yes, you are. Why do you think codes like SP30 and TT99 are in drop down lists for online insurance?!

In fact, here we go. Exact copy and paste job from a CIS insurance question

"Have you been convicted of, or received a fixed penalty notice for, a motoring offence in the last 5 years or is any prosecution pending?"
