As some of you will no i sold my G40 last week and i kept the rsls for my mk2 coupe s.As bessy (coupe s)passed her mot on saturday I've decided its time she needed some love so i fitted the rsls and took some pics

I've also started preping my spare g40 rear beam to go on

as you can see its in a bit of a mess

but after a bit of grinder and stripping wheel action

i will get my sand blaster on it but its slow so the more i remove this way will make the job easier but that will be tommorow nights job

the rims look well on the coupe. didnt know you had a sand blaster, is it any good for blasting alloy wheels?

cheers jon.yeh I've got a sand blasting cabinet and blasting pot but the pots slow.depending on size of the rim i could probably get them in the cabinet think i could get up to a 16" inch rim in there.

My dad has a sand blaster but i didnt think it would be any good for this sort of stuff? Sounds stupid but do you just put sand in the water to blast all that shit off? or are you using glass beads?

isent adding water bad as it might block up the gun? I've never added water to my blasting kit if its doable i might add soem and see where i get i got told never to add it and use only dry sand if i any blasting as wet sand is bad? i buy the tubs of various grade anyway so ist not too bad. :-)

kam i wasnt expecting it to work aswell as it does was going to paint the centres white but going to leave them now

carver my blaster use prober blasting grit to eat the rust off presured by my compressor not sure what blaster your dad has but theres no water involved ill get some pics up tommorow of both of my setups for you tommorow

thanks mate i agree bout the pistripe too but that will stay plus a few other red bits.got loadsa plans collected so many bits ill put some pics of my stash up tommorow

What modifications do you have to the Coupe then mate ? ie engine chassis

Look like RSL Cults, maybe 7s and 8s?

looks good m8 the thing with RSL Cults is you could change the centre colour to any thing and it will still look good!
