i have a polo cl coupe 1995 i have taken the dustbin air box off and replaced with golf air filter elbow and induction kit

i also have a set of gt clocks in it

i start the car all warning lights go off (apart from the hand break but thats fine cos the handbreak is on)

i can run the enine for as long as i like with nothing but

as soon as i start to drive i get the oil light flashing and a beeping sound i have checked the oil level and done a top up

but still as soon as i drive light flashes and beeping sound

please help as its driving me mad !!!!!!!!

Thats not an oil level warning its and oil pressure warning. Most likely cause is a shagged oil pressure sender. Worst case its a shagged oil pump. Investigate the problem incase its the latter!

Thats a MK3 isnt it. Theres a difference between early & late cars when you swap to GT clocks. If you try a search you should find all the info you need.

Ah ok I didnt read the entire post. The Gt clocks will be your problem.

ok so the clocks are the problem i can fix by wiring a high oil preasure sender has anyone done this and how do i go bout doin it it says i can earth the clocks too but how do i do that ??????
