If its a Mk3 Polo then it wont fit.

The easiest.

1.3 GT 75bhp

1.3 G40 Supercharged 113bhp

1.4 ABD with GT head and injection - Couple more bhp's then the GT but loads more torque

1.6 mk3 Golf/Polo/Skoda - 75bhp but best setup on GT injection - A well modded one with a engine work will be around 120bhp but theres a few things that need fabricating to get the engine in. So isnt the easiest but possibly the cheapest for the power you can get out of them if you can do the work yourself.

The mk4 16v engine fits too.

I'm doing the 1.6 conversion at the moment, should be a nippy fucker when its done, the GT engine is a good laugh around the country roads.

the abd engine sounds good how much money am i looking at to do this

or if i just do the easy option of the gt how do you grt a bit more grunt out of it

I'm gonna go with the abd what year is the golf that comes from has any 1 got a list of things i need to do and what gear box i will need to use if some 1 can give me a list of parts i will need that would be great

will i have to stiffen the front end to do this

I'm new to v dub engines so what does abd stand for how hard is it to get the bits i need

Aye ABD is easy to do mate. ABD is just the engine code

GT box if you do alot of town driing

CL box if you do alot of motorway.

The GT box is stupidly fun.
