17" alloys on a 6N

Featured Replies

i know it may sound like the typical 'chavvy' thing to do (believe me, I'm not even close to bein a chav! lol) but has anyone fit 17" alloys on a 6n? were you able to lower the car at all? any rubbing issues? (arches, brake lines etc.) any pics if possible??

any help much appreciated as i have been offered some 17's which would be a temporary solution until i get some borbets or something and get coilovers etc.

cheers, Callum.

I've got 17's on my 6n, an it is lowered, although it doesnt look it.

Mine are 17/7.5 ET45 wraped in 205/45/r17

No major issues on rear with scrubbage, just had to remove the plastic inner wheel arch bit, fronts bit tricker, they catch when on full lock, but this may partly due to the body kit, and i get scrubbage when cornering hard or carrying heavy load, but this is due to 20mm spaces on front, needed to clear suspension strut (mine are coilovers so would have been even worse with normal suspension)

I haven't had my archs pulled/flared though and this would probably sort some issues.

If i was you I'd wait, as I'm down sizing to 15's. Pic go to link
