Well if you are only in kendal you are welcome to come down and have a look at it. Goes quite nicely and thats with no exhaust on as yet (fitted tomorrow) so the back pressure is minimal.

Dash is the mk2 one as dash conversion is a pain in the balls. If you get the chance to pop down sometime feel free. Can have a look at how its done. GT is a nice upgrade and doesn't carry the price tag or running cost associated with a G40 engine. Although deep down everyone who has a polo wants a G40 :-)

Ha ha ha this man knows that road. It is one of the best drives around these parts. Although police do like the dual carraige sections so beware!!

Stick to 80-85 on the dual carriageways, it's the bit between them and the villages that you can get it moving! I travel this road fairly often, did it last friday, and a lad i work with commutes from keighley to kendal every day, so he can keep me informed of any accidents day by day!

I am. No exhaust on though so extremely loud. Better come sometime after tomorrow as exhaust will be back on and it will be much better then. Pretty illegal loud right now :-)

An hour and 45! Bloody hell, I got back from Hunslet in south Leeds in that time on friday evening. I'm guessing your mam drives like a christian! (Either that or the traffic was bad). May come over tomorrow evening, have to speak to the boss first!

Aye well i live in north leeds, its still a fair trek to skipton from here, and she doesnt speed through the villages.

I won't speed through the villages, don't want any points on a clean licence, or mow anyone down for that matter, too many feds on the A65! If it's not tomorrow, there's always sunday or next week, and I can assault you with questions, and your car wi' ma camera.

Good work there dude! I know how loud the exhaust is, I drove 30 miles on a dual carriageway to get my powerflow system made up with only the 4 branch! had a massive headache when i got there lol!!!

Yeah but until i have the exhaust on, got it properly setup and had a proper drive in it its hard to tell exactly how much quicker it is. Seems good though.
