I think the LUK ones from GSF listed as early mk4 1.4 16v are about the best price for a reasonable standard clutch. Or if you want an uprated one, look for Helix organic plate kit but it's about £300. Mine has a Helix paddle clutch in it which is about the same price (for full kit inc uprated release bearing) but I think the paddle would annoy me if I was using the car daily.
