New wheels finally came so fitted them yesterday. RH Cups!

14x 8 at the rear with 20mm spacers

14x7 on the front with 15mm spacers!

yes its been repsprayed mate and they did a poor job, it was done before i owned the car but as time has gone on the shoddy workman ship has shown!

Only real letdown i've had with the car!

looks great and ncie width too, but as skatman said the paint is abit poor. i woudl say remove the rub strips but god knows what it would be liek underneath :p

Cant help but think 15s would have looked better though as someone i know has them in the same widths, But thats my personal preference.

have had the rubstrips off before and the paint beneath is diabolical! no matter how much i tried it wouldnt match up, when the cowboys before me owned it and had it resprayed it would seem they didnt take any of the externals off, just masked up and sprayed to there is an entirely different layer of paint beneath the strips!

also i went and had a look at the 1st pic with naked eye and its not as bad as it seems in the pic, phone camera just exagerates it! will get proper pictures when my friends camera is available!!

thanks mate, rears are 14x8 et15 and fronts are 14x7 et25! Rears have 20mm spacers and the fronts have 15!

I've got coilovers yes and I'm not sure how low i am exactly although a friends mk5 gti is down about 110 and I'm not far off that!

The pitch of my drive makes it look alot higher than it is as its a random U shape.

Plans are to go lower but need arches rolling and swapping of the spacers i think! Or just slam the front and go nose down! :-D

not a massive stretch but i think it looks good as it is IMO.

My wheels are the same size 8x14 all round bt et20 with 195's and they look exectly the same, maybe even look they stick out more than yours and you've got spacers too , maybe it's just the pics.

looks like it needs to be flatted and polished more where the repair has been done then it should be fine
