so the polo went a couple of months back and ever since I've been searching for its replacement. so here it is - my 3rd mk2 golf. just a couple of phone pics for now but opinions welcome!

plans are to keep it pretty much as it is now really. my "dub" plate will be going on and theres a couple of surface rust spots on the doors to be sorted too. I'm also thinkin g60 steelies could be on the shopping list...

edging out of the drive is fun!

nice classic motor. 8v are plenty quick enough . just keep them earth points clean :-)

nice mototr, betta of reversing off the drive mate, i have problems too, reverse and the long way round the estate is the way to go :-D

thanks for the comments everyone, I'm definately thinkin that an oem look is the way forward. think i might try a single headlamp set up with a chrome vw badge though as one of the inner headlights is cracked anyway.

by the way - the windows look tinted in the photo but they're not!

not tried that yet. theres a fair bit of clearance on the backbox so might give it a try tomoro!
