Mk2 Golf GTI ++NOW ON EBAY++

For Sale is my 1990 G plate Golf GTI.

I've had this up for sale for a while but was rather reluctant to let it go. I've now got a new car so its time for me to let it go 100%

Here's the information on the car:

-Currently 125k miles

-C/L

-PAS

-Full Electric Recaro interior, i believe this is one of the rarest cloth designs, interior is imaculate.

-Just had a full service which includes, oil change, new plugs, air filter cleaned with filter cleaner. Also had water system drained and new antifreeze put in.

-Cat 2 alarm and imobiliser with certificate

-A lot of bills to show it has been pretty well looked after!

At 120k miles it had done:

-New Cambelt and Tensioner

-New Clutch

-New Clutch cable

-Fresh gearbox oil

-New front discs and pads (brembo discs & pagid pads)

-New gear linkages

-New brake pipes front to back

-New Battery

-New thermostat

-New brake fluid

-New headgasket with full head rebuild inc guides, valves relapped and new valve seals.

-New starter motor (last month)

-New PAS Belt

-New blue temperature sender

-New CV boots

-New front wheel bearings

at 125500k (last week) it had a new distributor.

My Golf has also been sensibley modified by the following:

-Full Stainless steel Exhaust, back box is about a year old.

- Jetex Panel filter

- ECU chipped

- Lowered 60mm on FK Springs and Shocks

- Momo Steering wheel

Due to the cars age, there a few niggley bits that i haven't had time to properly sort out, i'm rather particular about my cars (as you can see in the list above!)but i just haven't had a chance to do the following:

- There are little bit of rust on the scuttle where the wiper grommet is, i will take a picture this weekend, it is very minor, it may not even come up in the picture.

- Drivers side door lock sometimes doesnt open, this could be a loose connetion.

The car is very reliable and has never let me down, it uses no oil or water and doesnt have any 2nd gear syncro problems (the dreaded crunch!)

There are probably some bits that i've missed off.

I'm open to offers around £2250.
