When I was at springfest i noticed a lot of cars had hawiian flower garlandy things round their rear view mirrors. Is there any significance in this or is it just a bit of randomness?

I didnt actually realise it was a trend?? I went to a Hawaiin themed party and wore one and just put it on my mirror on the way home...nice summery little touch :-)
